February 2020 Events on Long Beach Island
Who says Long Beach Island is only a summer vacation spot?? There are tons of fun events going on all over Long Beach Island and Southern Ocean County throughout the year, even in the dead of winter.
- Chocolate Week on LBI starts on February 8! The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce coordinates local businesses to offer special promotions and events during this delectable week that coincides with Valentine’s Day and President’s Day weekend. Local restaurants are offering everything from special coffee drinks and desserts to cooking demonstrations and live music.
- Lighthouse International Film Festival February 7 & 8. The Lighthouse International Film Festival partners with the Long Beach Island Foundation in Loveladies to present an Oscar nominated short film series and on February 15, they will be hosting Linda Ronstadt for an evening of musical memories.
- Surflight Theater in Beach Haven presents the music of George Harrison on February 15 & 16. In addition to a night of Beatles music, there will be sweet chocolatey treats in the lobby after the show.
- Comedy show at Tuckers Tavern in Beach Haven on February 7. Atlantic City comedian, Michele Tomko, will host comedians throughout the evening while diners enjoy a night of laughs. Tuckers Tavern will also offer chocolate specials from the kitchen and bar all throughout the week and ends the week with a Valentine’s dinner for two on February 14 from a special menu.
- Stafford Township Arts Center in Manahawkin on February 16. Enjoy brunch at the Old Causeway on E. Bay Avenue and then hop over to the Arts Center for a cabaret.
