We recently completed a project for one of our Ship Bottom clients who wanted to make their large deck more family friendly. They found that they weren’t using their deck very often because the area became too hot and uncomfortable due to the blaring summer sun. LBI Coastal Builders and the homeowners collaborated on a plan to turn their deck into a covered porch instead.
The results were spectacular! The porch has a cathedral ceiling with tongue and groove pine, decorative wagon wheel trim and loads of covered space for the whole family. The new space now allows the homeowners to dine and relax in their newly shaded area as well as still allowing them to enjoy the calming ocean breezes of LBI.
